FINANCE ACADEMY I
(Honors) 1 credit This honors level course includes content and skills to prepare students for further studies and careers in the world of finance. Topics will include functions of market economies both domestic and international, modern securities organizations, banking, credit, and the insurance industries. Prerequisites and other notes: Honors Accounting I is a prerequisite. Managing Personal Finance Using Excel is a recommended prerequisite. Honors Finance Academy I is a prerequisite to the required summer internship that is a one of the requirements of the National Academy of Finance.
